Ashanti is without a doubt a priceless jewel in Murder Inc records hip-hop crown. Ashanti won my approval after knocking Celine Dion off the top of the US charts with her previous release `Foolish', which is not an easy thing to accomplish.

So it was with great excitement that I was looking forward to listening to her latest single 'Happy'. To be honest, I really don't like listening to this type of music (R&B) at the best of times. However, Ashanti's singing ability makes it a real pleasure to listen to this genre of music. Her singing ability is faultless. She has one of those soothing, silky, voices that makes you want to chill out and relax.

'Happy' is very infectious and after listening to it just once, it will have worked it's way into your brain and you will find yourself singing it over and over again. This is probably the best track from the album 'Ashanti'.
