Anthem Classics From Clubland.

Reviewed by Luke Seagrave

At the moment TV is dominated with holiday rep programmes showing us all what a great time we can have in places like Ibiza, Rhodes, and numerous other places that are impossible to spell.

‘Anthem Classics from Clubland’ is basically all the dance music that you hear on those holiday rep programmes on a two cds. Not only that but it is crammed full of music which is frequently played in British dance clubs as well, so you have the best of both worlds.

Now I personally do not like dance music, however there are a few tracks on this compilation that I could quite happily listen to over and over again, songs such as ‘Free’ by Ultra Nate, and ‘You’re Not Alone’ by Olive are just a couple.

The good thing about this compilation is that it includes the more pop orientated dance tracks as well as having tracks for the more hardcore clubbers who dance to literally that monotonous drum and bass crap. So no matter what type of dance music or club anthem you like, you can guarantee it is on this album.

'Anthem Classics from Clubland' is definitely the best album to listen to before going out clubbing
