Atomic Kitten- The Greatest Hits

Reviewed by Luke Seagrave

Atomic Kitten have decided to release a greatest hits cd now that they have finished their sell out tour. Only time will tell if they chose to release this cd has a parting gift to their fans, as it is still unclear if they are just taking time out, or if they have actually split up. (cough, cough)

This greatest hits collection is a golden nugget of pop riches. From disco dancefloor- stormers to the melody-driven epic ballads- this cd caters for every one- and you will know most of the tracks half by heart purely from the amount of radio play they have had.

For once this is a greatest hits cd, which includes EVERY hit that Atomic Kitten have had. Although it could be argued that a band that have only been around for five years really should not be releasing a greatest hits album.

This includes their pop classics- ‘Whole Again’, ‘Eternal Flame’ and ‘The Tide is High’. Which all reached number one. This greatest hits is so catchy that you will find yourself singing the songs at work throughout the day.

If you caught them on their ‘Ladies Night’ tour, you will be pleased to know that the live dvd will be available soon… which will give fans something else to remember them by.
