Toronto-based quartet Billy Talent release ‘River Below’ through Atlantic Record. This is the third single to be taken from the bands self-titled debut album that was released last year.

Opening with a supersonic mach 3 guitar killer riff which leads straight into the shouting vocals from Ben Kowalewicz- the tempo slows and speeds up without no reason other than to give the song that feeling of absolute madness. Strangely it works extremely well. It is difficult to tell if the song is about the Columbine Massacre or more recent terrorist atrocities that have taken place.

An intense frantic song.
