‘Out Of Myself’ is taken from the album of the same name by singer-songwriter Benjamin Diamond. He has managed to successfully create a song that blends rock and pop music together.
The song opens with a sparkling guitar sound and crashing drums that blend with Benjamin’s voice to create an almost surreal sounding pop-rock song. Technically his singing is fine and he is brilliant at writing this type of song- however it just doesn’t break any new ground.
‘Out Of Myself’ is one of those tracks that are hard to dislike but at the same time there is nothing spectacular to make it stand out from all of the other radio friendly pop-rock tracks that are already dominating the airwaves. |
