The Autosport show 2006 was an incredible feast of formula one cars and extremely quick supercars.

As far as car shows go, this had everything you could possibly want- ranging from the historical formula one cars right up to the current day cars- which were laid out so that you could casually walk round them and get up close and personal with them.

The arena was thoughtfully laid out- which made it a pleasure to walk round instead of wondering aimlessly like at some other car shows.

There was so many displays to get round- the F1 Monaco grand prix display was incredible- then the F1 history with numerous cars throughout the F1 years were all on display- if F1 isn’t your thing then they catered for all types of motoring fans- They had a a huge Rally display which was impressive to say the least!

They even had a special arena show- which featured every type of car you can imagine- including the fabulous Ferrari GT champions- although you have to pay for that show separately- £7, it might seem a lot on top of the normal ticket price- but it is definitely worth every penny! Highly recommended!!

If you fancied having a go at an activity there was lots to choose from ranging from simulators to being thrown around a course in a Caterham 7 or even having a go at Go- Karting around a huge track!

There were even guest speakers on various stands- Johnny Herbert, David Coulthard, Murray Walker to name just a few.

Once you had finished looking round the F1 and Rally section there was also a supercar section with the classic Ferrari Enzo and other cars that can take you past the 200mph mark! Admittedly very few people will ever be able to own one of those super cars and so it was a pleasure to be able to see them up close!

The Autosport Show is a great show to attend if you have any interest in motor sport at all- even though it claims to be a formula one show- it caters wonderfully for every other type of motor sport as well!
